Whole House – Österlen

An explosion of color, collaboration, and community

In the rolling landscapes of Österlen, where fields meet sea and silence speaks, a house was reborn—not through bricks, but through color, movement, and vision. “Whole House” became more than a building; it became a symbol. A canvas where street art met rural soul. Led by Dan Sapunar (Spaceism), the project united some of Sweden’s most dynamic artists in a transformative act of collective creativity.

The entire house was wrapped in mural works—from base to rooftop. Each wall pulsed with a unique energy, yet together formed a cohesive whole, much like a symphony built from different instruments.

Artists:

• Karolina Pistolina – brought vibrant figures and fierce femininity, blending bold linework with playful chaos.

• Elina Metzo – infused organic forms and soft power, adding emotional depth and dreamlike energy.

• Ligisd – layered the facade with dynamic motion and vibrant colorwork, rooted in graffiti tradition.

• Ola Kalnins – added abstraction and rhythm, shaping a visual pulse through color gradients and symbolic patterns.

• Leon – contributed precise, architectural elements that grounded the swirling motion around the house.

• Pani (Ajja Artist) – offered spiritual storytelling, with folkloric symbolism and mystic undertones.

• Hets – delivered raw, expressive strokes that challenged and energized the structure.

Backed by the Streetart Österlen Project, Whole House became a cultural landmark—merging street culture with the pastoral quietude of southern Sweden. It blurred the lines between urban edge and countryside calm, proving that street art belongs everywhere—not just in cities, but in villages, in hearts, in homes.

This is more than paint on walls.

It’s a call to wake up, to see, to feel.

A house that breathes art.

A house that became whole.
