La imagen central —una figura infantil— simboliza al propio pueblo como un organismo joven, dinámico y en expansión. No es una infancia idealizada, sino una metáfora de una
comunidad en crecimiento, que mira hacia el futuro sin renunciar a sus raíces. Sus brazos, teñidos de azul, evocan el fluir del río: el agua como impulso, fertilidad y movimiento. Ese azul dialoga con una paleta que une tierra y cielo, luz y materia; los tonos dorados y terrosos remiten a la calidez del suelo andaluz, mientras que los celestes abren una vía hacia el aire, el agua y la aspiración de elevarse. En ese equilibrio entre lo terrestre y lo celeste se sostiene la identidad de Cantillana, un lugar que vive entre el río y el sol, entre la materia y la luz.

Entre las manos de la niña aparece un sol con rostro humano: un homenaje directo a Ocaña, que se transformó a sí mismo en icono para reivindicar la libertad, la alegría y la verdad desde el color y el disfraz. Ese sol, que puede quemar pero que siempre ilumina, vuelve aquí como símbolo de energía creativa y de autenticidad, recordando la capacidad del arte para poner luz incluso en lo frágil.

El fondo incorpora motivos marinos inspirados en el mosaico romano hallado en Cantillana, estableciendo un diálogo entre la sensibilidad artesanal de la Antigüedad y la mirada
contemporánea que hoy vuelve a usar el arte como relato colectivo.

La propuesta se concibe como un organismo vivo que une el fuego del sol y el fluir del agua, el cielo y la tierra, el legado histórico y la renovación vital. Más que una imagen cerrada, el mural aspira a ser una forma de memoria activa: una mirada hacia el presente y el futuro de Cantillana que, sin perder sus orígenes, se atreve a desplegarse hacia la luz

The central image—a child—symbolizes the town itself as a young, dynamic, and expanding organism. It is not an idealized childhood, but a metaphor for a growing community that looks to the future without abandoning its roots. Its arms, tinged with blue, evoke the flow of the river: water as impulse, fertility, and movement. This blue engages with a palette that unites earth and sky, light and matter; the golden and earthy tones allude to the warmth of the Andalusian soil, while the celestial blues open a path to air, water, and the aspiration to rise. In this balance between the earthly and the celestial lies the identity of Cantillana, a place that lives between the river and the sun, between matter and light.

Between the girl's hands appears a sun with a human face: a direct homage to Ocaña, who transformed himself into an icon to champion freedom, joy, and truth through color and costume. That sun, which can burn but always illuminates, returns here as a symbol of creative energy and authenticity, recalling art's capacity to bring light even to what is fragile.

The background incorporates marine motifs inspired by the Roman mosaic found in Cantillana, establishing a dialogue between the artisanal sensibility of Antiquity and the contemporary perspective that today once again uses art as a collective narrative.

The proposal is conceived as a living organism that unites the fire of the sun and the flow of water, sky and earth, historical legacy and vital renewal. More than a closed image, the mural aspires to be a form of active memory: a look toward the present and future of Cantillana that, without losing its origins, dares to unfold toward the light.
