Urbaner KunstRaum Wuppertal - EDITION 2024

THE ARTIST - Amsterdam artist JDL, aka Judith de Leeuw, began creating graffiti as a street rebel at the age of 15. JDL uses her art to express emotions, with her concepts strongly influenced by her surroundings and social issues. She was inspired to create this mural by the warmth and comfort she experiences from her friends.

THE Project: The UKW, the people, the city and lots of art - public and for everyone. UKW - that is a creative explosion of cultures, exporting and importing feelings of home, creating vibrant living spaces and enabling diverse encounters - simply great art from da street to the people.
