Humanoid Temple

+1

Description

This mural was created for Amiens’ urban art festival IC.ON.IC, staged in the city’s legendary Saint-Leu district. Known for its canals and historic charm, it’s one of the most visited neighborhoods in town. Since the area is protected as heritage, bringing in contemporary street art here was both a challenge and a statement.

Dawal has been chasing creativity since day one. He found his voice in street art...starting out with spray cans in Lille, later painting in Athens during his studies. Entirely self-taught, he crafts imaginary worlds in a free, figurative style...packed with symbols, surreal vibes, and sharp details. His pieces often mix humor and irony, sparking questions about society and the systems behind it. Recurring themes like technology, time, and childhood run through his work, always with bold colors, tight shadows, and a strong eye for detail.

Here, Dawal presents his own vision of a humanoid temple original, striking, and full of layers. Take your time, get up close, and catch all the little details 👌🏻

Hi, I’m Esther. I have always been drawn to the vibrant and dynamic world of urban creativity. My true love lies in hunting for remarkable street art pieces and sharing them with the world and fellow enthusiasts. What fascinates me the most about street art is its large dimensions. I like big walls, and I cannot lie ;) The magic of street art lies in its ability to surprise and inspire people in their everyday surroundings, it transforms public spaces into accessible galleries for everyone!
