Created for ARTSCAPE 2025 VÄNERSBORG

This project was really unique. The concept was the whisperer's/telephone game.
For each artist, a famous painting from the past was selected. A local wordsmith/writer then wrote a few paragraphs based on the painting (for me to use as inspiration), but I would not know what the original art piece was!
An experiment to see what survives through different creative filters.

In the text I was given, the writer talks about childhood memories, emotional development, and the challenges of becoming the person they are expected to be, making references to the life cycle of cicadas, which can live for many years underground, before finally emerging and undergoing their metamorphosis into the adult stage.
