This mural was painted in July of 2024 as an early kick-off of the upcoming 2024 mural festival, which took place from Oct7-13, 2024. Senna happened to be in the states for a different art project in Ohio and decided to come to KC afterwards, where we were able to re-paint this wall which he had originally painted for the 2018 mural festival. The mural was unfortunately destroyed when the building needed to undergo tuck-pointing to restore it's structural integrity, so it was a massive excitement and joy for all involved to be able to create a new mural at this location with a progressed concept of the first!
