The Plaza Fountain, made of concrete and installed in 1965 along with the Pyramid, provides another delightful place for children to play. Only rarely is the water turned on now, but the Brutalist structure has evolved into a canvas for chalk art and a place for children to stick their fingers into crevasses and peer through holes.
