La mirada Silenciada

This mural reinterprets the story of Medusa from a vision of justice and vindication. On the left side, Poseidon appears turned to stone, his imposing figure now inert and fragmented, symbol of his punishment and the weight of his own actions. His face is barely distinguishable between the cracks, trapped in time like an echo of the past.

On the right side, Medusa is shown with an imposing and serene beauty, but with her gaze lowered, reflecting her pain and resignation. Her skin glows with soft, mystical tones, and her delicate features contrast with the strength emanating from her presence. A snake, realistic and detailed, coils over her shoulder gracefully, as a symbol of her transformation and power.

The colors of the mural play with cold and metallic tones on Poseidon's side, while warm, golden light illuminates Medusa, highlighting her humanity and rebirth. The work invites us to reflect on the myth from a new perspective, giving a voice to the one who was silenced.
