Miclarte is a street art festival organized by the municipal youth institute of Leon. For three years in a row, the festival has been held to celebrate the day of the dead. It is a traditional Mexican celebration that seeks to maintain the diverse traditions, as well as to be a window to show the world the vast culture of our country. Through customs of yesteryear and different contemporary artistic expressions, this very Mexican tradition is preserved.

The festival usually takes place in the city's pantheons to emphasize the holiday.
