Placed alongside a pharmacists, the artwork reflects the surrounding farmland and escarpment. The artist used colours that pop from the urban area and blend with the natural landscape. As the public walks through the painting, the mountains become an extension of the artwork. 

Helen Proctor is an Australian artist who has just returned from living abroad in Europe. There she developed her focus on abstract landscape painting both in her studio & on large-scale mural projects. Her current practice explores the use of colour & abstraction methods to depict the emotional nostalgia revived from a personal connection to place.
