Description
Photographer and artist Jean Cazals took striking portraits of the well-known local figure Jama Elmi (known for his colourful tailored suits) as a part of the public art installation on Portobello Wall, launched 14th of May 2024.
“I saw Jama Elmi on the streets of Portobello numerous times in all his rainbow-coloured suits and finally approached him in early 2023 to ask if he’d like to have some portraits taken, which he agreed to straight away.”
