Au fond de cet ancien hangar transformé en parking, Ardif nous propose un lévrier en pleine action. 
« J’hybride toujours mes animaux avec des mécano-architectures, ce qui me permet de mettre en valeur certains aspects rappelant la ville où je peins. Il y a ainsi des éléments des maisons à colombage, de la Collégiale, de la Cathédrale. Cela permet à la fresque de dialoguer avec l’espace urbain et le patrimoine. 
Les rouages et la mécanique font référence à la motorisation mais également aux 24 Heures du Mans. Le côté « mécanique » fait partie intégrante de mon travail habituel, mais pour l’occasion il y a un clin d’œil aux 24 Heures. 
Dans mon travail sur les « mechanimals », mon message global est autour de l’hybridation entre nature et technique. Elle représente cette recherche de l’homme, qui s’oriente sur une balance entre les projets techniques (continuer à progresser en tant qu’humain et société) et le respect du patrimoine naturel, en étant en accord et en harmonie avec lui. J’essaie de proposer une vision artistique imaginaire et onirique de cette question fondamentale de nos sociétés et de notre avenir en tant qu’humanité. ».

At the back of this former hangar, now a parking lot, Ardif presents us with a greyhound in action.

“I always combine my animals with mechanical structures, which allows me to highlight certain aspects reminiscent of the city where I paint. There are elements of half-timbered houses, the Collegiate Church, and the Cathedral. This allows the mural to engage in a dialogue with the urban space and its heritage.

The gears and mechanics refer to motorization but also to the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The ‘mechanical’ aspect is an integral part of my usual work, but for this occasion, there’s a nod to the 24 Hours.

In my work with these ‘mechanicals,’ my overall message revolves around the hybridization of nature and technology. It represents humanity’s quest for a balance between technological projects (continuing to progress as individuals and as a society) and respecting the natural heritage, living in harmony with it.” I am trying to offer an imaginative and dreamlike artistic vision of this fundamental question concerning our societies and our future as humanity.
