The inauguration was deeply moving, attended by his father, Curro Reyes, along with his cousin and several close friends. Also present were the former president and majority shareholder of Sevilla F.C., José María del Nido, the mural’s artist, Kato, members of the Carmona city council, and many supporters of the Peña Sevillista, all united in honoring a figure who left an indelible mark on the club and its people.

This mural not only celebrates the career of an exceptional footballer, but also the human legacy Reyes left behind—one that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who admired him.

Este mural, realizado íntegramente con técnica de spray y basado en fotografías reales de José Antonio Reyes Calderón, rinde homenaje a uno de los futbolistas más queridos y recordados del Sevilla F.C. La obra recoge tres momentos icónicos de su carrera, tres imágenes que resumen su entrega, su pasión y el vínculo eterno que mantuvo con el club.

En el lado izquierdo, Reyes aparece besando el nudillo tras marcar un gol en un derbi, un gesto cargado de emoción y orgullo sevillista. Asistieron también el expresidente y máximo accionista del Sevilla F.C., José María del Nido, el autor del mural, Kato, miembros del ayuntamiento de Carmona y numerosos socios de la peña, quienes quisieron acompañar este homenaje cargado de cariño, respeto y admiración.
