The Whisper of Forces

The cities of Besançon and Dundee share the industrial history of the Timex–Kelton factories, marked by workers’ struggles in the 1970s and 1980s.
Through this collaborative work, Besançon-based artist Vincent SMALL and Scottish artist KMG revive the dialogue between the two cities, celebrating solidarity, collective strength, and shared memory.

This piece, the result of several months of work with former factory workers, brings forth two human figures from a cloud of points in the colors of the work uniforms of the era.
Lifted by this collective movement, they move forward strong, aware, and united in a single momentum.
