Feest - Een illustratieve, kleurrijke prent van een feestelijk kermistafereel in Liedekerke. In dit ontwerp zitten heel wat geestige verwijzingen naar Kermis Opperstraat.

Kijk en ontdek elke keer iets nieuws in deze figuratieve striptekening met verschillende lagen. Deze prent vereeuwigt de 'op en af' beweging dat zo typerend is tijdens Kermis Opperstraat. Herken je de trommelende jongen, de smoutebollen, de Popcorn Party, de rijzige bomen van het Pastoriepark, een kind met een rood sjaaltje, de 'pree' in de broekzak of de botsauto's op het plein? 

En in het midden van dat alles, onder de mensen, onze Jacky Delcour met zijn camera in de hand.

Het ontwerp van deze muurschildering is van Sam Billen, artistiek directeur van Treepack, uitgevoerd door freelance artiesten onder zijn leiding.

Look and discover something new every time you look at this figurative comic strip drawing with different layers. This print immortalises the “up and down” movement that is so typical of Kermis Opperstraat. Do you recognise the drumming boy, the doughnuts, the Popcorn Party, the tall trees of Pastoriepark, a child with a red scarf, the “pree” in his trouser pocket or the bumper cars on the square?

And in the middle of it all, among the people, our Jacky Delcour with his camera in hand.
