Blije Nanas

Description

The mural ‘Blije Nanas’ (Happy Nana’s) in the Mariniershof was created by the artist Mina (@theminamania) in the winter of 2025 at the invitation of ALL CAPS Rotterdam.

Mina is an internationally renowned street artist who currently works from Berlin. Nana (undoubtedly a nod to Nikki de Saint Phalle’s Nana) is a female character she created: a super-feminine, open, humorous and friendly character. Mina herself has been active in the originally male-dominated graffiti scene since she was fourteen. Her iconic, self-assured Nanas can be found all over the world. Her slogan is, accordingly: ‘Vive la Nanarchie!’
