With “Galeon d’Or”, I sought to summon from legend the shadow of a shipwrecked guardian, forever bound to the shore. Once protector of a sunken treasure, she now watches over something far more fragile: marine life, from the treasured oysters to the very breath of the sea.
Her presence is a whisper, a silent warning against modern storms—climate unravelling, oceans scarred by our wounds.
Beside her, a basket of empty shells speaks of what is already vanishing.
Through this mural, I pay tribute to the ocean, that ancient force which has long nourished our traditions and dreams, and I invite each of us to listen to its stories before they fall silent.
