This piece on Brixton Station Road was created by the well-known anarcho-punk graffiti crew ICBM, an underground graffiti collective known for its raw, punk-style “bombing” and high-visibility tags across New York City, New Jersey and other locations around the world. 

The texts in the drawing (“There is no authority but yourself” and “The nature of your oppression is the aesthetic of our anger”) are quotes from the legendary British anarcho-punk group Crass. Crass was an activist punk group active from 1977 to 1984 that opposed war, state control and capitalism.
