The underpass at Poststraße in Essen-Kupferdreh (right below the A44 motorway bridge) was completely transformed through a large-scale, professional street art project. As it was previously a frequent target for illegal graffiti, a dedicated local resident kept painting over the vandalism until an official funding request for a professional art installation was approved. Then a team of eight renowned graffiti and urban art artists collaborated to redesign the walls of the underpass in 2025.
