Description

Opposite the "Hall of Fame" beneath the Europa Bridge, you can see this photorealistic head of a woman, rendered in a classical Greek style. The depiction is complemented by dynamic 3D elements and color gradients in mint green and pink.

The woman depicted could be Empress Augusta: She made Koblenz her summer residence and, in 1865, commissioned the famous Rhine promenade gardens ("Rheinanlagen"). A marble monument to Empress Augusta can also be found there.
