Le Pays de Valois is a region in the north of France that is known for its archery tradition. This natural setting, located half an hour away from Paris, is the location of the ambitious project Monumental Valois. An initiative that will gather contemporary monumental sculptures and paintings with the intention of developing the region with art and respect for the nature.
This 360º mural, painted on a renovated transformer tower sets the entrance to this open air museum. Along this old WWII railroad track, today transformed into a green way, a number of sculptures and artistic interventions that will interact with the natural setting, will be installed. This piece tries to express change as a symbol of life and at the same time indicates the beginning of the park.
