Painted in 2024 to mark the 20th anniversary of Poland’s accession to the European Union, the mural tells a story of belonging, unity, and uncertainty. At its centre is the outline of Poland, filled with a vibrant flower meadow beneath an open blue sky. From the east, however, a dark cloud is drawing near, introducing a sense of tension and foreboding. Encircling the country on all sides is the flag of the European Union, forming both a backdrop and a symbol of solidarity and shared identity.
