Siempre Nos Quedara London

'Siempre nos quedara London', 'We’ll always have London' is a nod to Humphrey Bogart’s famous line in he movie Casablanca. This piece is located on the wall next to the car park at Ely’s Yard and was created by Yipi Yipi Yeah (YYY), an anonymous street art duo who are mainly active in Madrid, Spain, and have gained a reputation there primarily for altering road signs.

The distinctive coloured broccoli sculptures hanging beneath the artwork, are an addition by the local London street artist Adrian Boswell (also known as 'The Broccoli Man'), who has been brightening up Shoreditch with his recognisable, brightly coloured Pop Art broccoli since 2017.

This YYY-piece featuring Humphrey Bogart can also be found in Madrid, where the name of the location has been altered to: ‘Siempre nos quedara Malasaña.’ (Malasaña is a neighbourhood in Madrid teeming with street art.)
