Meeting of Styles Belgium returned to Antwerp, artists from across the globe transformed more the urban arena at the Zomerfabriek in street art district Berchem, during an electrifying & scorching hot weekend of live painting, culture, and community at Meeting of Styles Belgium. Guided by this year’s theme, “Togetherness,” the artists turned collaboration into a visual language, blending styles, stories, and shared energy into one collective wall.

The mural created by Greek artist Apset for Meeting of Styles Belgium 2026 is a vivid fusion of graffiti heritage, graphic design discipline, and emotional portraiture. Born in Thessaloniki and active since 1998, Apset has spent decades refining a hybrid visual language — and this wall captures it with striking clarity.

At the center of the composition, a stylized face emerges from fractured geometric planes, rendered in saturated blues, reds, yellows, and purples. The portrait feels both serene and electric: eyes closed, features softened, yet surrounded by sharp angular forms that suggest movement, tension, and inner reflection. A small star symbol near the forehead adds a subtle spark, hinting at illumination or creative awakening. His signature “AF SET” anchors the work in his graffiti identity, connecting this refined mural back to the raw energy of the streets.

The piece sits between two contrasting murals — a detailed hand holding a playing card on the left, and an abstract black‑and‑orange composition on the right — creating a dynamic visual dialogue across the wall. Painted during his first visit to Antwerp, Apset describes the experience as one of his best MOS editions, leaving behind “two pins on the earth” as markers of presence and exchange.
