Flowers and Landscapes

Description

‘Flowers and Landscapes’ is a huge mural by artists ThisOne and Ed Hicks on the side of 3 Station House, Code Street.

ThisOne is known for his highly detailed, graphic black-and-white style. He paints almost exclusively flowers, birds, insects and other animals with a recognisable, clean illustrative outline. For this mural, he was responsible for the enormous arrangement of flowers on the left-hand side.

Ed Hicks (Hicks 54) began his career around 2007 in London’s traditional graffiti scene, but went on to specialise in painting unusual landscapes. On this wall, he painted the mountain landscape in soft shades of pink and purple.

The work dates from 2018
