Danseur Hip-Hop

Bust the Drip (Alexis Stephens) was born in 1983, he lives and works in and near Paris. His mural at the Quai Jean-Marie Tjibaou was painted presents a young person performing hip-hop dance. He depicts the human body as an arrangement of waves of movements and energy, translating it into graphic form. The artist began his career as a professional hip-hop dancer. Since 2010, Bust the Drip has been painting in the streets. "Drip" is a slang term for "style" that of course also refers to a drip of paint running down a surface.
