NovaDead a réalisé cette peinture murale représentant Nelson Mandela en juillet 2018 à l'occasion du centenaire de la naissance de l'ancien président sud-africain.

Julien Crevaels, qui travaille sous le nom d'artiste NovaDead, est un artiste belgo-congolais. Il puise son inspiration dans ses souvenirs d'enfance, influencés par les anciennes traditions africaines. De sa fascination pour le cosmos et les lois de l'univers, il illustre ses personnages dans un style allant du figuratif à l'abstrait. La faune et la flore équatoriales apparaissent également fréquemment dans ses œuvres.

NovaDead created this mural depicting Nelson Mandela in July 2018 to mark the centenary of the former South African president's birth.

Julien Crevaels, who works under the artist name NovaDead, is a Belgian-Congolese artist. He draws his inspiration from childhood memories, influenced by ancient African traditions. From his fascination with the cosmos and the laws of the universe, he illustrates his characters in a style that ranges from figurative to abstract. Equatorial fauna and flora also frequently appear in his works.
