Concordia in Enschede is dedicated to film, theater, and visual arts. With two locations in the city center, Concordia offers a wide range of activities for all ages. This artwork on the Concordia building is an anamorphic painting. This is a technique in which the artwork only looks realistic from a specific angle. From other vantage points, it appears mainly as blue and red lines. The designers at Studio Rameckers de Rond drew inspiration from the windows of the Jacobuskerk and Concordia’s distinctive red spiral staircase. Try taking a perfect photo!

Concordia in Enschede staat voor film, theater en beeldende kunst. Met twee locaties in de binnenstad biedt Concordia een breed aanbod voor jong en oud. Dit kunstwerk op het pand van Concordia is een anamorfose schildering. Dit is een techniek waarbij het kunstwerk er alleen vanuit een bepaalde hoek realistisch uitziet. Vanaf andere plekken zijn het vooral blauwe en rode lijnen. De ontwerpers van Studio Rameckers de Rond vonden inspiratie in de ramen van de Jacobuskerk en Concordia’s karakteristieke rode wenteltrap.
