The Ashford Hospital is decorated with the bright plumage of native Australian birds, including a pair of kookaburras, Rainbow Lorikeets, Eastern Rosellas, pink Galah, and an Australian Magpie. This project not only gave a personality to a concrete building, but now welcomes hospital staff and visitors, while promoting art to the surrounding community.
