WIRED WHISPERS

Small mural painted on the wooden door of a Baggage Storage Place by Artist, Flyalon

The mural shows oversized, glossy red lips from which colorfu wires spill out dynamically against a blue sky-like background .

It has a surreal, vibrant, almost psychedelic quality typical of Madrid’s urban art scene, blendin pop-culture-style imagery like, glossy red lips with dreamlike, surreal elements such as the colourful wires flowing endlessly

Similar to comic books, the piece features dark, defined outlines, also the deep contrast between the shadows inside the mouth and the bright highlights on the lips creates a three-dimensional effect.

The artist uses a painted yellow border to create a "frame within a frame" effect, cleanly separating the fantastical blue-sky imagery from the rustic texture of the wooden doors.

Would you leave your bags there?
