"Sobrecarga" (Overload) is a visual representation of the unchecked consumerism that characterizes contemporary society. The artwork is crafted from disused objects, predominantly plastic, featuring an abandoned shopping cart at the top, illuminated at night by LED lights powered through a solar panel.

The sculpture challenges viewers to question the culture of consumption and its environmental impact, as well as its psychological and spiritual effects. It serves as a provocation framing the compulsive act of buying as a temporary escape from our internal reality and a symptom of a deeper crisis.

This intervention not only invites reflection on our consumption patterns but also encourages exploration of the deeper significance behind our life choices.
