WINGS OF PAINT

This mural is part of the interventions of the Festival "Keep it written 2024" in Xeraco, Valencia, organized by local artists Peloch, Elrond and the crew Grow Up, and sponsored by the town local Council.

The artwork blends contemporary street culture with mythical imagery through several distinct elements. The central Figure is a portrait of a woman with flowing mauve hair. Her elegant features and the the draping folds of her mauve dress evoke the appearance of a mythological figure, reinforced by the pressence of two magpies. The Modern Twist on the painting is the spray paint can in her hand

The piece is painted entirely in a monochromatic and analogous color scheme using shades of purple, and mauve, except for the two black and white magpies. Organic, flame-like patterns wrap around the background to frame the character.
