Tinky Sonntag creates tiny installations in unexpected places - perhaps where a pipe meets an wall or a brick is missing. She often uses humour to enliven the stories that can be built around them - her Instagram captions read like vintage Ladybird Book scenarios. * This is a favourite spot for Tinky's mini-installations. While the one pictured below has now gone, it has been replaced by another and then another, so check out this spot. You can find it about five metres inside Presgrave Place; look up and across to the left and you will see the spot, on top of a metal box (heating/power).
I love street art. And I love sharing the images that artists paint on walls, whether it's here in Melbourne or in other visually exciting cities. I've been photographing art in Melbourne since 2005 and love being part of the street art community.
