Description

Right outside the Duisburg Central Station (Duisburg Hbf) on Portsmouthplatz, you will find a large, three-dimensional XXL letter sculpture displaying this phrase, which serves as a popular photo and selfie spot.

While the sculpture occasionally wanders around different city landmarks (like the local theater), it regularly returns to its prominent spot right in front of the main station's main entrance. The appearance of the letters changes frequently. For instance, it has featured colorful, sports-themed designs for the 2025 spring season and custom artwork during major football tournaments in the summer of 2026.

In 2013 I started with a new hobby. In the beginning it was difficult to get reliable information how to find streetart in public space. In 2016, I had the idea of sharing my information with other street art enthusiasts and started my blog “Streetartwalks”. When I found out about this new street art community at the beginning of 2018, I was immediately on board.
