The one who know where dreams blossom

Mural created in Charrat It, known for its Sentier des Adonis. The Adonis heralds the arrival of spring, brightening the clearings with their chalky, poor and dry soil in the bushy oak woods. This plant flowers only in Valais. The oak and its leaves form part of the commune's original regional identity. They serve as a reminder of the presence of these trees on the first plots of land to be stabilised on the edge of the Rhône plain, long before the major river embankment works of 1860.
