This 90m long mural at the Museum of Contemporary Art was created in 2015 by OKO (Marina Mesar) and refers to the power that art has in broadening our horizons, that is, it allows us to look and truly see, even what we sometimes avoid seeing.
The name OKO is a combination of the idea of the all-seeing eye, the eye of God, but also the inner eye that allows us to see things and appraise a situation emotionally, given that "oko" in Croatian means eye. During her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts she started with paste-ups, stickers and street installations, working often together with Puma34. Today, she sees herself as a multimedia artist, experimenting from interior decor, stickers and murals to gallery exhibitions and tattoos. Although often on the road, she has ateliers in Zagreb and London and quotes the local skate culture as an important inspiration for her artistic work.
