A self-taught artist Shane Walker has been creating outdoor murals as a freelance artist since 2016. The majority of his outdoor artworks are found around his hometown of Waihi but some can also be seen around the Bay of Plenty in places such as Tauranga and Whakatane. His artworks are heavily influenced by the beautiful scenery of New Zealand beaches and incorporate a wealth of native flora and fauna but also include references to the classic kiwi culture.
