On the right of the tunnel underneath the railway, next to Allen Gardens, you'll find this playful, cartoon-like character, designed in Zebra Pozer’s distinctive style. His work is highly recognisable by its loose, almost messy sketch lines. He deliberately avoids perfection and instead strives to bring the spontaneity and joy of a sketchbook to the streets.

London-based artist Zebra Pozer specialises in designing unique, expressive characters. His characters, which he often refers to as ‘Nutty Faces’ or ‘weirdos’, playfully depict figures from all walks of life. In addition to traditional spray cans, he makes extensive use of thick paint pens (such as Posca pens) to apply the bright, contrasting colours and thick black outlines to his figures.

To the left of the head, in Zebra Pozer’s sketch-like style, are four Chinese characters, which loosely translate as ‘heal Hong Kong’ or ‘restore Hong Kong’. The text is a creative variation on the well-known political protest slogan ‘光復香港，時代革命’ (‘Liberate Hong Kong, the revolution of our times’), which was widely used during the protests in Hong Kong. Zebra Pozer has travelled to Hong Kong and painted murals there in collaboration with the local street art scene.
