Invisibles

Description

Created for Festival Salto 2025

Invisibles is a community project carried out in collaboration with the Zaragoza shelter for the homeless. The mural was designed after a workshop with the shelter's residents, where I met them, told them about their roots, and learned about their difficult situation in Zaragoza. The intention of the mural is to bring visibility and respect to this vulnerable group that feels invisible and marginalized on a social and institutional level.

The painting shows a group of people falling down the wall. These figures are transparent, and we can decipher the background of the scene through their almost invisible silhouettes.

This composition is meant to be a metaphor for how these invisible people feel, falling and helping each other in this uncontrolled social decline, which the further it takes them, the more difficult their reintegration will be.

As part of the project, we invited the shelter residents to paint with me, and if that weren't enough, we organized a rap concert where one of the participants shared some lyrics inspired by the festival and the mural.

Hunter

Tiny Tim
Started out hunting the streets in Antwerp, and completely bitten by the 'street art' virus. And the only cure is: HUNT SOME MORE. I love showing people all the amazing Belgian artists, run street art tours in my city and occasionally facilitate new mural projects. I love to travel and meet other hunters and artists. So hit me up when you're in town.
