The newly erected wall became crime scene of Hafendampf twice. Hafendampf is an annual graffiti jam in Essen, which was born 2013. It was named after the location where it takes place traditionally - Essen's little known city port. In September 2018 & 2021 the graffity community of North Rhine Westfalia and friends have met in Essen Frilledorf at Franz Fischer Weg for a spray weekend.

In 2013 I started with a new hobby. In the beginning it was difficult to get reliable information how to find streetart in public space. In 2016, I had the idea of sharing my information with other street art enthusiasts and started my blog “Streetartwalks”. When I found out about this new street art community at the beginning of 2018, I was immediately on board.
