A monster piece of the epic obey series painted in 2019. Now tagged at the bottom but still worth seeing.

I created this mural with my team in 2019 in London at Truman Brewery. It's a great location, but I was anxious to execute this mural because the halftone and gradient were new technical territory for me but crucial to the aesthetics of the face. I'm happy to say that it translated well! "Shadowplay" was the third and final mural from that London trip.

Shadowplay is a reference to the shadows of the face in my image and also a nod to Joy Division and their graphic designer, Peter Saville, who crafted their beautiful and haunting covers from found and manipulated imagery.
