Passionate about drawing from an early age, STAR 97 quickly found in spray paint a true tool of freedom. His first lines were created in the world of graffiti, a raw and vibrant environment where he developed both his technique and artistic vision. Entirely self-taught, he has gradually built a distinctive visual language based on a subtle balance between realism and expressive abstraction.

Using spray paint as his primary medium, STAR 97 creates large-scale murals where meticulous detail meets free-flowing forms, where light interacts with shadow, and where opacity blends with transparency. His approach is both instinctive and demanding, driven by a constant pursuit of contrast, depth, and visual harmony. Every wall becomes a space for exploration—an opportunity to capture the complexity of reality while reinterpreting it through a bold and distinctive aesthetic.

Passionné de dessin depuis son plus jeune âge, STAR 97 a très vite trouvé dans la bombe aérosol un véritable outil de liberté. Ses premières lignes ont été tracées dans l’univers du graffiti, un terrain d’apprentissage brut et vivant où il a forgé sa technique et développé son regard. Entièrement autodidacte, il a progressivement construit un style personnel, fondé sur un équilibre subtil entre réalisme et abstraction expressive.

À la bombe aérosol, STAR 97 réalise des fresques où la précision du détail côtoie des formes libres, où la lumière dialogue avec l’ombre et où l’opacité se mêle à la transparence. Son approche est instinctive, mais exigeante, portée par une recherche constante de contraste, de profondeur et de cohérence graphique.
