In this mural of more than 200 square meters, requested by the Department of Urban Image of the City of Alicante, Manuel Galdón aims to create a subjective dialogue between the work and the pedestrian and "humanize" - by the way - an innocuous building by turning it into a visually organic element. Mosaic of Looks up there... or down there? It delves into the need that human beings have to belong and connect, the look being the kindest and most direct way to achieve it. Generally, being with people seems to relieve us. We seek the collective impulse and the acceptance of others to have a meaning or fight for something but sometimes, when we are with the group, we feel alone and lack of illusion.

En este mural de más de 200 metros cuadrados, solicitado por la Concejalía de Imagen Urbana del Ayuntamiento de Alicante, Manuel Galdón pretende crear un diálogo subjetivo entre la obra y el viandante y «humanizar» —dicho sea de paso— un edificio anodino convirtiéndolo en un elemento visualmente orgánico. Mosaico de Miradas ahí arriba…¿o ahí abajo? profundiza en la necesidad que tenemos los seres humanos de pertenecer y conectar siendo la mirada el modo más amable y directo de lograrlo. Generalmente, estar con la gente parece que nos alivia. Buscamos el impulso colectivo y la aceptación de los demás para tener un sentido o luchar por algo pero en ocasiones, cuando estamos con el grupo, nos sentimos solos y faltos de ilusión.
