JOHN LENNON

This Mural inauguration was originally in 1981 by the Mayor of Madrid, a year after John Lennon’s murder, as a tribute to the Musician who sang to Peace, and it is painted on a wall at the entrance of a park in the Paseo of John Lennon

The artwork was an initiative of the Montserrat school adjacent to it, where their students, teachers and neighbors cooperate regularly to refresh it with new designs.

Blue Indigo background, a portray of Lennon and some of the motifs and messages that marked his solo career, “Imagine”, “Peace”, “Brotherhood” in colorful tones, make up this joyful wall
