Fontana di Trevi

Description

One of the oldest murals in Vallecas but still overlooked is this recreation of la Fontana de Trevi, by Spanish Artist, TdTenorio.

This artwork is painted in a realistic style offering great detail, mostly in grayscale and chalky tones, giving the brick building wall, the textured appearance of carved marble statues. Though a little faded right now, you can still see soft blue and turquoise hints at the bottom to illustrate the flowing water cascades and the fountain pool.

No chance to encounter the Anitas Ekbergs of today here, but at least  you can take pictures without having to elbow your way through
