GARGAR, QUÈ ÉS?

El Gargar Festival de Murals i d’Art Rural és una iniciativa creada per Binomic.cat amb el suport de l’Ajuntament de Penelles i la Diputació de Lleida, que vol difondre la cultura artística al món rural, fent de Penelles un referent, implicant la gent en un tema únic i diferent del que ens puguem sentir orgullosos, dinamitzant el poble i potenciant el turisme. Aquest any fem la novena edició.

GARGAR, QUÈ VOLEM?

El festival vol generar uns recursos que ens permetran corregir el pas del temps i el deteriorament dels nostres carrers tornant a il·lusionar el nostre veïnat.

El Gargar Festival de Murals i d’Art Rural va neixer de la necessitat i la ferma voluntat d’atorgar un valor afegit diferencial al nostre poble. L’objectiu és valorar, impulsar i donar visibilitat al street art i altres formes d’intervenció artística en l’espai públic rural.

GARGAR, COM HO FAREM?

Gargar té la voluntat de realitzar intervencions artístiques i culturals en espais públics per millorar el poble, apropar l‘art a tothom i donar més recursos a la seva gent.

Gargar fon muralisme i música amb tallers d’altres disciplines artístiques. Tot això es reflexa en un programa de màxima qualitat, absolutament engrescador per a la nostra comarca i per a tota mena de públic.

GARGAR, WHAT IS IT?

Gargar Mural and Rural Art Festival created by Binomic.cat who wants to promote the artistic culture in the rural world, turning the village of Penelles into a reference point, engaging people in a unique project of which we can be proud. Also, it aims at energising the village and promote tourism. The 9th edition will be held this year.

GARGAR, WHAT DO WE WANT?

The festival hopes to generate resources that allow us to correct the effects of time and the deterioration of our streets, reinspiring hope in our neighbours.

Gargar Mural and Rural Art Festival was born from the need and the strong determination to add a distinguishing value to our village. The objective is to appreciate, encourage and give visibility to street art and alternative ways of artistic expression in public rural areas.

GARGAR, HOW WILL WE DO IT?

Gargar intends to carry out artistic and cultural projects in public spaces to improve our village, bring art closer to everybody and give more resources to people.

Gargar merge art, mapping, music, expositions, craft beer and food trucks, along with workshops related to other artistic disciplines. This is reflected in a programme of the highest quality, absolutely exciting for our region and for all types of public.
