The Józef Czerniawski mural is located at the intersection of Bohaterów Monte Cassino 60 and Grunwaldzka Street in Sopot, Poland. This large and colorful artwork was unveiled on October 2, 2022, to honor the famous local painter and professor who passed away in 2021. The mural is a direct, large-scale copy of one of his vibrant paintings, and his daughter officially allowed the city to recreate it on the side of the building. The mural covered a previous one „sopocka fala” which was in bad shape

I was always interested in traditional art since my father is a painter, but when I was in high school I came across the article about Banksy and realized art can be found not only on canvas and in art galleries, but also on streets. Ever since I’m a keen street art hunter :)
