Hope Street Mural

Description

HOPE STREET was a street art project aimed to create an outdoor gallery accessible to all, representing the community in all its diversity, celebrating creativity and increasing connectivity. Following a community consultation process to develop the design concept, Sarah invited the community to come along to workshops. This hands on experience was offered to anyone interested in finding out more about street art, learning techniques or gaining new skills  – no experience required. The work was strongly influenced by the conversations with local aboriginal community member, discussing the importance of the plants and creatures living in our Murray River.
