‘Love is the only language I speak fluently’ is the most recognisable quote by the street artist TrustyScribe. His dream is to leave this particular speech bubble in every country in the world, each time translated into the local language and adapted to the local culture. The idea behind this is a ‘ripple effect’: the more love you send out into the world, the more love circulates.
TrustyScribe originally started out as a photographer in San Francisco. From 2004 onwards, he began capturing street art to document its transience. Following a severe bout of depression and a destructive relationship between 2015 and 2017, he sought a way to make his voice heard. Street art became his outlet.
