Description

This mural weaves together New Mexico's mountains, deserts, wildlife, ranching heritage, and Indigenous and Hispanic cultures into a dreamlike celebration of the state's rich landscape and identity. It serves as a tribute to three Southeast New Mexico artists: Peter Hurd, Luis Jimenez, and Henriette Wyeth. The figures at the bottom left represent S.P. and Estelle Yates, patrons of the arts.
